Newborn Photos

My close friend recently adopted twin boys. One of them is still recovering in the hospital, but we had to get some pictures of this little cutie. Originally we'd planned on doing this photo shoot outside, but when we woke up to pouring rain this morning we had to improvise. I think it worked out beautifully.

And of course, we had to get some shots of his handsome older brother while we were at it!

A few more of Max

Max's 12 Month Session

I am rather partial to this little guy. Not only because he is so fun and photogenic, but because he's my nephew. And he's simply adorable!

Commonly Asked Questions

How long will my session last?
Session times vary depending on number of people and location, but on average a session takes about 60-90 minutes.

How are my images chosen and how many will I receive?
You will receive proofs of your images which you may choose from. Number of images varies on what kind of a shoot you've booked, but an average shoot will receive 30-40 images. Engagements, Bridals, and Weddings will receive more images.

What poses do family sessions include?
Whatever you would like. I believe in taking the time to photograph your family how you want to be photographed. Family portraits, various group portraits, and individual portraits are included.

Where will my session take place?
I do location photography anywhere within the Salt Lake/South Davis County area. (Contact me for information on travel fees for further locations.) I also have a studio in West Bountiful. I do have a list of location options that I will go over with you at time of booking.

What should I wear to my session?
The most important thing is to wear something that is comfortable and that fits your personality. I have found outfits with layers, textures, and a splash of color photograph especially well. It is also recommended to wear new or near new clothing. It is best to avoid large patterns or logos. Bringing accent clothing such as jackets, scarves, or vests is an easy way to help to vary your clothing/color options.

How long will it take for me to receive my images after a session?
Editing lengths vary depending on type of session and number of bookings photographer has at that time. You will be notified upon your session of estimated completion dates. On average, sessions take 1-2 weeks and weddings take 3-4 weeks.

When and how do I pay you for my session?
Payment for session is due at the time of the session. I am able to accept cash or checks. When booking a wedding a $100 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking.

Once the disc is ready how can I pick it up?
You can contact me to arrange a time to pick up your disc or I can mail the it to you. Arrangements usually take place upon notification of the images being completed.
