In August of 2009 I share some information about my good friends, Steve and Amy, who booked a session for their adoption profile. I am ecstatic to report that they were recently chosen to adopt the most beautiful baby girl!
Congratulations Steve and Amy! She is perfect!

Holly, do you ever get emotional when you are editing? I think I would have had tissues right next to me the whole time during the session too. How exciting for them and an honor for you. You got some really great shots. I love the one to the right of the one with her binkie in her mouth...the little grins are just too cute!
I do Julia! This one was especially emotional for me. Steve has been one of my best friends since 10th grade. (If brides had best men, he would have been mine.) And I knew Amy was the one for Steve two minutes after I met her.
I also feel very grateful for her birth mother who had so much courage and sacrificed selflessly for her beautiful baby girl so she could have the best life possible. I think that's what makes me the most emotional.
So so perfect. My cousin and his wife are waiting and hoping for a baby to come their way. What a wonderful blessing for your friends. Congrats Steve and Amy she is a doll.

Oh my goodness!! I'm trying not to get too emotional because I know what it feels to wait and wait for your little girl or boy to come. I am so happy for them! They will be great parents. By the way, I want to take some pictures and (I haven't talk to Tom yet) but I would like for you to take our pictures.
Oh I am so excited for them! They have had to wait so long. I was so sad when things didn't work out with the girl here in our ward. They are going to be awesome parents! The pictures are absolutely beautiful Holly, like always! You are an amazing photographer. I really do want to get with you and pick your brain and just hang out! Let me know when you have some time!
