Baby {R} Newborn Session

Love this sweet girl! It just so happens this little cutie is my newest niece and it was wonderful getting to spend a few hours taking her picture and getting to know her better.





Can't wait to see what the future brings for this little beauty.

{E+E} First Birthday Session

I had such a great time working with these darling twin girls! I have a soft spot for multiples being as I have a twin sister and five-year-old twin boys. I've learned a thing or two when it comes to double trouble, but these two little angels were as sweet as they come! In fact, halfway through the session they came walking up to me and gave me a great big hug! They stole my heart and I loved working with them!

{E} High School Senior Session

I love working with high school seniors and this session was a lot of fun. For senior sessions I recommend starting in my studio to get a few "formal shots," then to move out onto location to get relaxed "personality" shots.

M+M {Bridals/Groomals}

Each time I book a bridal session my first question for the bride is if she'd like her groom to join her for the session. It might go against tradition, but I can't recommend it enough! It gives us a chance to really take our time to get gorgeous images of the couple together in settings that you usually can't get on your wedding day.

I'm a bit behind on posting sessions, this couple is now happily married and I'm currently editing their wedding pictures. But this was an exceptionally fun session and I couldn't miss the chance to share some of my favorites. We started downtown in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, then moved out to some local areas in the city.

Newborn - Miss {H}

I so enjoy working with new little ones. This little darling stole my heart as soon as her mom and dad brought her in. She was sweet as could be and I could not get over that beautiful head of hair!



I love the little grin on her face as mama was giving her kisses.


When she needed a break we had little brother step in for a few shots.

Oldies but Goodies

Sometimes things get really busy around here, and when they do I have a tendency to stop blogging. As I result I only get around to posting a portion of my sessions each year. But recently I stumbled on some old files from last fall and thought there were a few worth sharing.

I've had the opportunity to know and work with this cute family in the past, and just recently found out I'll have the chance to photography baby #2 later this summer.

This little one makes me smile, because for the first hour of her session she refused to even look at me without bursting into tears. But once she warmed up she couldn't turn off the charm if she tried.

And speaking of charm...

I love working with little boys! The zanier the better. And if they are twin boys, well that's a big bonus in my book (having now five-year-old twin boys myself).


Of course, little girls are a lot of fun too!



And twin girls is something I know a little about too, being that I have a twin sister. These two little cuties are coming by for their first birthday pictures early next month and I can't wait to see them again.

I love what I do and the people I work with. It's very rewarding capturing important moments from the crossroads of people's lives.
